Throughout her career, she has successfully led teams in strategic development, financial and risk management, corporate and project finance, as well as financial modelling and analysis across diverse locations such as Kenya, Uganda, and Turkey.

Joan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and an MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi. She is also a registered Certified Public Accountant of Kenya. Beyond her professional pursuits, Joan is deeply committed to the empowerment of women and youth. Her dedication is exemplified by her voluntary engagement, where she lends her valuable skills and expertise to organizations such as the Maktabas Foundation and ImpactHER.
