Afua Amoah is the Managing Partner & Founder of Delwik Group, an investment management firm based in Zurich, Switzerland focused on investing in Africa. 

 

 Afua has over 18 years' experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Project Finance and Asset Management. Previously she was an independent investment consultant for African Capital Alliance (ACA), an investment firm focusing on Nigeria and West Africa with over $1bn AUM. Prior to joining ACA, she worked as a project developer at BlackRhino (a Blackstone portfolio company) and as a project financier at Barclays Africa in South Africa. She also worked in New-York and London as an M&A banker at Deutsche Bank, and within asset management at Black Rock and Goldman Sachs in the US. Prior to her MBA she was in Shanghai, China with Simon Murray China Fund now Red Gate Asset Management, a Private Equity Firm. Afua has cross border and cross sector experience in Oil &Gas, Power, Renewable Energy, as well as FMCG.

 

She holds a dual degree in Mathematics (Cum Laude) from Mount Holyoke and in Mechanical Engineering from Dartmouth's Thayer School of Engineering and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Afua obtained her Series 6 and 79 Investment Banking License in New York, as well as her FSA in London.
